A Grade 11 student is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Peterborough Tuesday (Sept. 7) morning.

According to  the Peterborough Police Service, the student was struck by a vehicle after getting off a  transit bus near Langton Street and Hilliard Street, just north of Adam Scott Collegiate, around 8:50 a.m.

“The student is in critical condition and has been flown to a Toronto hospital for treatment,” reads a media release from police.
