
A Cannington resident is facing charges after a trailer was stolen from a Lindsay business.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers responded to the Kent Street West business area for a reported suspicious person around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 1).
“A witness had observed a male remove a utility trailer from a Kent Street West business and walk eastbound on Kent Street pulling the trailer,” reads a media release.
“Officers located the male and observed the store sales tags and stickers were still attached to the trailer and placed the male under arrest.”
Shaun Link, 38, of Cannington has been charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Oct. 14.
