
Six people are facing charges after police executed search warrants at three properties in Orillia.
According to the OPP, the three warrants were served at three different residences on Elgin Street shorty before midnight on Tuesday (Aug. 31).
“As a result, quantities of cocaine and Canadian currency were seized and six individuals were arrested and charged,” reads a media release.
Four suspects — 18-year-old Treyvon English of Etobicoke, 30-year-old Violet Brown of Orillia, 31-year-old Jessica Henry of Orillia and 37-year-old Nicole Vivian of Orillia — have each been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.
Two others — 18-year-old Akeem James of Scarborough and 50-year-old Katherine Sauve of Orillia — have each been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – under $5,000.
All six are slated to appear in Orillia court on Oct. 5.
