
A Port Perry resident has been charged following a traffic stop in Lindsay Tuesday (Aug. 31).
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers conducted a traffic stop on William Street North in Lindsay shortly after 12:30 p.m.
“While speaking with the driver, the officer observed two glass tubes in the center console of the vehicle which are often used as pipes to smoke crack cocaine,” reads a media release.
“After further investigation the driver was found to be in possession of cocaine.”
Dylan Roncetti, 23, of Port Perry has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on Oct. 14.
