
An Uxbridge man has been charged in connection to an arson last summer.
According to a social media post from the DRPS, officers were called to the fire at a property on Second Street in Uxbridge on July 1, 2020.
“A fire had been set to a shed and a bottle of an unknown accelerant was located at the scene,” the post reads.
“Forensic analysis located fingerprints at the scene and a suspect was identified in 2021 based on the fingerprint lifts.”
A 26-year-old man, whose name has not been released, has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and arson.
He was released on an undertaking.
