Police are searching for a truck that was stolen in Port Perry Wednesday (Aug. 11) with a puppy inside.

According to the DRPS, the 2015 silver Dodge RAM pickup truck (licence #AY12574) was stolen in the area of Scugog Line 3 and Simcoe Street around 10 a.m.

Inside was a 9-month old Australian Sheppard puppy named Opal, police said.

“Call police if you see the vehicle or the puppy,” reads a social media post from police.
