
A woman has been charged after allegedly driving impaired in the Beaverton area with five children in the vehicle.
According to the DRPS, an officer spotted a minivan driving erratically and speeding in the area of Regional Road 23 and Highway 12 around 9:30 p.m. on Friday (July 30).
“The officer initiated a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving impaired with five children in the vehicle,” reads a media release.
The driver, a 30-year-old from Wasaga Beach, has been charged with operation while impaired-exceed blood alcohol.
She was released on an undertaking.
