Something’s blooming in Sunderland

A new business has bloomed in rural Sunderland.

Located at 1740 Concession 4 Brock, the Pinedale Patch is a family-run venture featuring trails that stretch through a gorgeous five-acre sunflower field, as well as a market stand.

The business opened for its first season over the weekend, though a bit of rainy weather shortened the schedule on Saturday (July 24).

Hours of operation are from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Wednesday; from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday; and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Admission costs $15 for adults and $10 for youth aged 10 to 17. There is no charge for children younger than 10. Leashed pets are welcome and pathways through the property will accommodate strollers.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://pinedalepatch.ca or at the farm gate.
