One person was taken to hospital following a head-on collision on Highway 12 in the Beaverton area Tuesday (July 20) afternoon.

According to Brock Township Fire Chief Rick Harrison, the collision occured around 3 p.m. just north of Concession 6 Thorah as a storm swept through the area.

Two pickup trucks were involved. One of the drivers was taken to Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Orillia with minor injuries.
