
An Uxbridge motorist is facing a handful of charges following a single-vehicle collision in Peterborough County over the weekend.
According to the OPP, officers were called to Edwina Drive in Trent Lakes around 6:30 a.m. Saturday (July 10).
“The vehicle lost control and entered the ditch. The uninjured driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol,” reads a media release from police.
Carl Clark, 24, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol; operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration-80 plus; driving while under suspension; Class G1 licence holder – unaccompanied by qualified driver; novice driver – B.A.C. above zero; and take motor vehicle without consent.
He is scheduled to appear in Peterborough court on Aug. 17.
