
A Pickering man is facing charges after police allegedly seized a loaded gun, drugs and currency while executing a search warrant.
According to the DRPS, officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Pickering Parkway at the conclusion of an investigation Thursday (July 8).
“During the search, officers seized a loaded handgun, ammunition, approximately $10,000 cash, cocaine and Fentanyl worth an estimated $110,000,” reads a media release.
Mario Malcom, 32, is facing numerous charges includin possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000; possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm no licence or registration; possession of a loaded prohibited/restricted firearm; three counts of possession contrary to prohibition order; possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence or registration and two counts of possession of Schedule I for purpose of trafficking (cocaine and Fentanyl).
He was held for a bail hearing.
