
Two people are facing charges following an alleged break-in at a Lindsay home.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a break and enter in progress around 12:15 p.m. on Friday (July 2).
“The homeowner is in the process of renovating the residence, attended to do some work and found two people in the residence gathering tools,” reads a media release.
“The complainant called 911 and police responded and were able to arrest both parties.”
Kevin Colvin, 36, of Lindsay has een charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, assault and breach probation.
Peggy Zwicker, 35, of Lindsay has been charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000 and theft under $5,000.
Both parties are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Lindsay, on August 12, 2021 to answer to the charges.
