
A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision in Georgina Monday (June 28) morning.
According to the York Regional Police, officers were called to the intersection of Leslie Street (The Queensway South) and Ravenshoe Road East for reports of a collision between a grey Ford Escape and a blue Honda sport motorcycle around 7:30 a.m.
“The rider of the motorcycle, a 32-year-old man from Holland Landing, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries,” reads a media release.
“The Escape’s occupants, a 17-year-old female driver and her four-year-old female passenger, both of Keswick, were not injured.”
Investigators are appealing to any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police or anyone who may have dashcam footage or residential video surveillance of the collision to come forward.
“Investigators have opened a digital evidence portal where members of the community can upload any photos, video surveillance or dashcam footage of the collision,” the media release reads.
