A 21-year-old motorist is facing charges after being clocked travelling at 141 km/h on Highway 12.
According to a social media post from the DRPS, the man’s vehicle — a pickup truck that was towing a trailer — passed traffic officers in the area of Townline Road in Scugog Township.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was subsequently charged with speeding, careless driving and stunt driving.
Police noted that the vehicle has been impounded and the man’s licence has been suspended.
“Please respect the speed limits,” the post reads.
