
A Little Britain man is facing charges following a single-vehicle collision Monday (June 21).
According to the OPP, officers were called shortly to the area of Algonquin Road shortly after midnight after a passing motorist spotted a vehicle in the ditch.
“Upon arrival to the scene, an investigation was initiated that resulted in the arrest of a local resident,” reads a media release.
Kenneth Koster, 58, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
“The driver also received a 90-day licence suspension and their vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for seven days,” reads a media release.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on July 15, 2021.
