
A Pefferlaw man is facing impaired driving charges following a traffic stop in Peterborough County.
According to the OPP, officers responded to a complaint regarding a possible impaired driver on Highway 28 around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday (June 19).
“The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated on County Road 6. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol,” reads a media release.
Donald Grant, 56, has been charged with operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus.
They are scheduled to appear in Peterborough court on July 20.
“The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days,” the media release reads.
