
A Lindsay motorist is facing charges after police received a call about a possible impaired driver on Highway 7 Thursday (June 17).
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to the area of Kent Street West and McLaughlin Road around 5:45 p.m. for a possible impaired driver.
|A concerned citizen contacted police after observing a vehicle cross the centre line while travelling on Highway 7,” reads a media release.
“The vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane multiple times and struck a passing vehicle.”
Kaitlynn Semple, 25,of Lindsay has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on July 29.
