A Ramara Township man is facing impaired driving charges after police were called to a residence in Brechin.
According to the OPP, officers received information that an intoxicated male that was about to drive around 9 p.m on Friday (June 11).
“Officers arrived, located the vehicle and spoke to the driver,” reads a emdia release.
“They immediately had cause to begin an impaired driving investigation and, as a result, the suspect was arrested and transported to the OPP detachment for further investigation.”
Stephen Neal, 64, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (over 80).
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Orillia court on July 6.
