A Cannington man is facing charges following a traffic complaint in Kawartha Lakes.

According to the OPP, a vehicle was seen driving in an erratic manner on Thursday (June 10) with officers stopping it on Highway 35 near River Road.

“The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of the driver,” reads a media release.

Tyler Corneil, 25, has been charged with dangerous operation and operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on June 24.

The vehicle was towed from the scene, police noted.
