
A Toronto man is facing a number of firearm and drug charges after being arrested in the parking lot of a Beaverton motel on Friday (June 4) night.
According to the DRPS, officers detained the suspect on Friday (June 4) evening as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
“Police seized Fentanyl, cash and an Infiniti vehicle as part of the investigation,” reads a media release.
“Investigators later executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence on Markham Road in Toronto. Police seized a firearm, two replica firearms, ammunition, Fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and other related evidence.”
Triston Courtland Grant, 33 of Markham Road in Toronto has been charged with numerous offenses including three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (methamphetamine, cocaine, Fentanyl); unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm; restricted firearm with readily accessible ammunition; possession of weapon obtained by commission of offence and two counts of breach of recognizance.
He was held for a bail hearing.
