A motorist is facing charges after police received a report about a suspicious driver in Kawartha Lakes Wednesday (June 2).

According to the OPP, officers responded to a call from a homeowner in the area of Burke Road with concerns about a suspicious vehicle parked in their driveway.

Brian O’Donoghue, 31, of Algonquin Highlands Township has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine.

He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on June 24.
