Students heading into Grade 5 this fall are invited to enter an essay contest to become DRPS Chief for a day.

Entries are now being accepted for this year’s contest, which asks “What would you do if you were the Chief of Police for a day?”

All submissions must include the name of student, the name and location of the school they’re attending and the name of the school board.

Entries can be submitted via email to chiefforaday@drps.ca with a deadline of Sept. 15.

The winner will serve as Chief for a Day in October.
