
A man is facing charges following a break-in at a business in Lindsay.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers responded an alarm at a William Street South business at 4:20 a.m.
“The business was found to be insecure; the business had been entered and was in disarray,” reads a media release from police.
“Video surveillance on the property revealed a male had removed a window air conditioner unit and crawled into the business, once inside stole merchandise and a quantity of cash.”
A suspect was arrested the following day.
William Mahon, 44, has been charged with break, enter and commit and theft under $5,000.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
