Two people have been charged in connection to an arson in Lindsay.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, the fire was reported at a building on St. David Street around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday (May 5).

While the fire was extinguished, investigators ruled it was suspicious in nature.

Two people were arrested the following day.

Colton Harvey, 20, and Tyler O’Brien-Sutherland, 19, both of Lindsay have each been charged with break and enter, mischief and arson.

They are scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on June 17.
