Highway 12 is closed between Thorah Concession Road 3 and Regional Road 15 in Beaverton due to a collision, according to the OPP.

While few details have been officially released, Brock Township Fire Chief Rick Harrison said the two-vehicle collision happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday (May 4). Harrison says one person was extricated and taken to hospital. 

The road, north and southbound, is expected to be closed for several hours for the investigation.
