A 30-year-old has been charged after police responded to an alleged domestic incident in Kawartha Lakes over the weekend.

According to the OP, officers were called to a residence in the former Bexley Township area on Saturday (May 1).

One party was arrested and charged with assault – spousal.

They are scheduled to appear in court on May 28.

Their name has not been released to protect the identity of the victim.
