More than a dozen new COVID-19 cases reported since April 26 have brought the Township of Brock’s total to 130, 32 of which are active.
According to Durham Region’s COVID tracker, April 26 and 28 each saw four new cases while April 27 and 29 each had three cases attributed to them.
For those tracking new daily cases, some cases previously reported appear to have been reallocated to different days by the Durham Regional Health Department. This does not impact the total number of cases or those noted as active or resolved.
The confirmed cases reported April 29 mark eight straight days of new cases in Brock Township.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 96 of the 130 cases reported in Brock have been resolved while two individuals have died as a result of the virus.
