Arrest made in connection to business break-ins in Port Perry, Oshawa

A 39-year-old man is facing charges in connection to after break-ins at businesses in Port Perry and Oshawa.

According to the DRPS, the break-ins took place in March and April.

Police say approximately $30,000 of stolen property was recovered when the suspect was arrested.

Mark Wilbur, 39 of no fixed address is charged with eight counts of break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break in instruments and theft under $5,000.

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
