Traffic complaints lead to charges for Lindsay man

A Lindsay man has been charged  after police received complaints about a potentially impaired driver.

According to the OPP, an officer responded to multiple traffic complaints pertaining to a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner on Highway 35 around 5 p.m. Wednesday (April 28).

“The officer located and stopped the vehicle on Highway 35 near Lifford Road,” reads a media release.

Brad Clancy, 26, has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on May 20.

“The vehicle was towed from the scene and will be impounded for seven days,” the media release reads.
