After what has been a very productive five weeks in the position of mayor, I feel the council team and the administrative team are progressing aggressively on all of our objectives and that we are moving forward in the best interests of the residents of Township of Brock.

On behalf of council, we are exceptionally pleased to see the stability in our workforce as a result of the changes we have made.  We attribute this to the experienced and calm approach of the leadership to guide the Corporation in the right direction and the team of committed and experienced Township of Brock employees who are supporting the changes we have made.

Council has also extended the contract for the CAO Ingrid Svelnis until February 2023 in order to carry us through the next election and to assist the new council in their selection of the next CAO.

I want to thank the public and our staff for their commitment to the Township of Brock.  On behalf of council, I am confident we are moving forward in a positive and professional manner and that things will continually improve.
