Coboconk motorist charged with impaired operation

A Coboconk motorist has been charged after allegedly being seen asleep behind the wheel of a parked vehicle in Lindsay.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers received a call from a concerned citizen around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday (April 21).

“Officers attended the Victoria Avenue North location and found the vehicle parked on the boulevard,” reads a media release.

“While speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and placed her under arrest.”

Demi Windsor, 27, of Coboconk has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

She is sheduled to appear in Lindsay court on June 3.
