One person has died and six new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Brock Township since April 18.
Two cases were noted over each of the three days. Four of these cases were reported in individuals between the ages of 20 and 39 while two were between the ages of 40 and 59.
The death, reported April 20, is Brock’s second COVID-19 fatality, according to the Durham Regional Health Department.
Active cases in the township have decreased to 22, all of whom are listed as being in home isolation.
These new cases bring Brock’s total number of cases throughout the pandemic to 107.
