
A stretch of Mara Road has been closed in Beaverton following a single-vehicle collision Tuesday (April 13) evening.
According to Brock Township Fire Chief Rick Harrison, the collision occured near the intersection of Victoria Street around 6:15 p.m.
“The vehicle struck hydro poles and brought the wires down. EMS is treating one patient, though injuries are uncertain at this time,” he said in an interview around 6:30 p.m.
Witnesses at the scene said that it appears the car also flipped before coming to rest beside a house.
