
COVID-19 cases in Brock Township have spiked in recent days, with a total of 13 cases reported over the last four days.
Two cases were reported on April 6, three on April 7, four on April 8 and another four on April 9.
According to the Durham Region Health Department, there are currently 17 active cases in the township, with 16 residents in home isolation. Another has been hospitalized and is being treated in the intensive care unit.
A total of 84 cases have been reported in Brock Township since the pandemic began more than a year ago.
Thirteen of the cases have involved variants of concern.
