Man reported missing from Georgina

Police are asking for the public’s help finding a 55-year-old man reported missing from Georgina.

York Regional Police say Ronald McNerney was last seen at approximately 6:30 p.m. Wednesday (April 7) in the area of Warden Avenue and Old Homestead Road. According to police, McNerney was seen getting into a blue, older-style Chevrolet pickup truck and then travelling south on Warden Avenue.

McNerney is described as a white man, 5’6″ tall, weighing approximately 165 pounds. Police say he has medium length strawberry blonde hair and a moustache. He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket and beige pants.

It is believed McNerney may have travelled to the Newmarket area.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
