Two teens suffered serious injuries after a shooting in Oshawa early Monday (April 5).
According to the DRPS, officers were called to Glen Street Public School shortly before 12:30 a.m.
“Police located a 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male with serious injuries from shots being fired. The victims were transported to a Toronto area trauma centre with serious but non-life threatening injuries,” reads a media release.
“Information received as part of the investigation, indicates there was an altercation between the victims and two other males on the basketball court which resulted in the two teens being shot. Investigators don’t believe this was a random act.”
Police are looking for a suspect who fled from the scene.
