A stretch of Highway 7/12 has been closed near Port Perry following a collision Saturday (April 3) afternoon.

While few details have been released, a Twitter post from the OPP notes that the highway is closed in both directions between Reach Street and Scugog Line 8.

Other reports on social media note that an air ambulance may have been called in.
