
A Lindsay man is facing charges following an altercation at a Lindsay home.
According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a home on Simcoe Street shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday (March 30) after a verbal dispute between two people.
“The dispute escalated and the accused assaulted the victim while making threats. The victim was able to flee the residence and contact police,” reads a media release.
Corey Hughes, 51, has been charged with assault and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
He is scheduled to appear in court on May 13.
