
Four people are facing charges after police executed a search warrant in Scugog Township.
According to the DRPS, officers began an investigation into the possible sale of cocaine from a residence in Prince Albert in early 2021.
On Friday (March 26), a search warrant was executed at a residence on Jeffery Street.
“A quantity of drugs — including cocaine, crystal meth, heroin and percocet — cash and other property was seized. The total street value of the drugs seized is approximately $20,000,” reads a media release.
Four suspects — 29-year-old Aaron Powers, 39-year-old Katie Barrette, 18-year-old Jordan Barrette and 22-year-old Brooke Barrette — have each been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose (of trafficking) and possession of a controlled substance.
They were all released on undertakings.
