A Kawartha Lakes man is facing assault charges after police responded to a 911 call in Fenelon Falls Sunday (March 28).

According to the OPP, the 23-year-old suspect was arrested following an investigation.

Tyler Meredith has been charged with assault with a weapon, assault and uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm.

He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on May 29.
