Traffic complaint leads to charges for Lindsay man

A traffic complaint about a suspected impaired driver has led to charges for a Lindsay man.

According to the OPP, officers from the Peterborough County detachment responded around 2 p.m. Monday (March 22) concerning a motorist on Highway 115.

“The vehicle was located and the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of stolen property,” reads a media release.

Randal MacDowell, 37, has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus and possession of property obtained by crime – under $5,000.

He is scheduled to appear in Peterborough court on April 15.
