Former Brock Township CAO paid nearly $160,000 through six months

A former Brock Township CAO was paid nearly $160,000 in 2020 despite parting ways with the municipality six months into the year.

According to the information released by the Province under Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act (more commonly known as the Sunshine List), Robert Lamb received a salary of $159,148 in addition to $6,145 in taxable benefits.

While the circumstances of his departure aren’t entirely clear, he was ousted from the position after council voted to appoint an interim replacement on June 22 of last year.

Before joining Brock Township, Lamb held the position of CAO/Deputy Clerk for the Township of Tay since 2013.

Last Monday (March 15), the Township announced that Dean Hustwick, its newest hire as CEO, was also leaving the municipality after little more than four months on the job.
