
A complaint about a suspicious vehicle has led to impaired driving charges for a Scugog Township man.
According to the OPP, officers responded to the area of Tracey’s Hill Road and Sturgeon Road around 6 a.m. Friday (March 19) where they allegedly located a parked vehicle whose lone occupant was asleep in the driver’s seat.
“The ensuing investigation led the officers to believe that this person had been consuming alcohol,” reads a media release.
Wyatt Stinson, 25, of Scugog has been charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). He was further charged with novice driver – B.A.C. above zero contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He is scheduled to appear in Lindsay court on April 15.
