A four-vehicle collision has closed a stretch of Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in Whitby.

While few details are available, a social media post from the DRPS notes that incident occured around 10 a.m. in the area of Rossland and Dundas streets.

A subsequent posts states that a man is being taken to a Toronto trauma centre after suffering serious injuries.
