Police are investigating a break-in and theft at a Lindsay business.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers received a report about a break and enter at a Peel Street business shortly before 9 a.m. Tuesday (March 16).

Sometime overnight, unknown individuals gained entry into the building, police say. Once inside, they forced open filing cabinets before leaving with office equipment, gift cards and food.
