Firefighters from Brock joined those from Kawartha Lakes battling a barn blaze south of Manilla Sunday (March 14).

While few details are available, the fire broke out at a property on the east side of Simcoe Street around 1 p.m. and quickly engulfed the barn, which has since collapsed.

Township firefighters are providing tanker assistance, according to Deputy Fire Chief Wayne Ward.
