Bridge repairs will force the closure of Regional Road 50 in Brock and Ramara townships for the next seven months.

The work is scheduled to get underway on Monday (March 15) and should wrap up by the end of October though unfavourable weather conditions may influence the schedule.

“The closure is necessary to safely remove and rehabilitate the existing Regional Road 50 bridge structure over the Trent Severn Canal. All traffic will be detoured to Highway 12,” reads a notice from the Region of Durham.
