Six people charged following drug investigation in Orillia

Six people are facing charges following an investigation into drug trafficking in Orillia.

According to the OPP, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Matchdash Street on Friday (Feb. 26), arresting 10 individuals at the scene.

“Officers located a quantity of cocaine and Canadian currency and an ornate cane, with a Cobra head, which could be unscrewed to reveal a narrow sword,” reads a media release.

Jobi Greer, 27, of Ramara has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine; possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000; failure to comply with undertaking and fail to comply with probation order.

John Greer, 38, of Orillia has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine; possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000; and failure to comply with undertaking.

Virginia Mark, 36, of Orillia has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine.

Taylor Strongitharm, 24, of Orillia has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine; and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

William Waller, 36, of Carden Township has been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine and possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine.

Glenn Hillock, 66, of Orillia has been charged with possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine.

“Upon completion of the investigation at the scene, the remaining individuals were released without charges,” reads  a media release.
