Weapons charges have been laid following an alleged family dispute in Lindsay.

According to the Kawartha Lakes Police Service, officers were called to a residence shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday (Feb. 26) night.

An adult suspect has charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm and breach of recognizance.

They were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
