COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be offered in each Durham municipality

While there is still no timeline as to when they will be offered, the Durham Region Health Department will be hosting COVID-19 vaccination clinics in all eight Durham municipalities.

For North Durham residents, clinics will be held at the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre in Cannington, as well as the Uxbridge and Scugog arenas.

Other locations in Durham include the Audley Recreation Centre in Ajax, the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex in Clarington, Durham College and Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Chestnut Hills Development Complex in Pickering and the McKinney Centre in Whitby.

“Mobile clinics will also be available to provide vaccine to populations and individuals who may have difficulty accessing larger clinics,” reads a notice from the health department.

Clinics for “priority populations” will be offered in March in both Oshawa and Pickering.

“These clinics will not be open to the public at this time and we will not be taking any public bookings,” the notice reads.
